Send your child with a green lunch all week, no plastic disposable bottles or baggies.

Tuesday- Earth Day!  Your child will take part in an assembly and clean up our Soleado community!
Wednesday- Soleado Farmer's Market - Please support your local growers of Soleado and come purchase some lettuce, onions, kale, or broccoli after school!
Thursday- Lights Out! Soleado will spend some time outside today rei nforcing the lesson about conserving energy. You may take part by turning your lights off at home this evening.
Friday- Reuse! Toy Drive- please bring gently used and unwanted toys to school, which will be donated to a local children's charity.
Saturday- Goodwill is at Soleado! Bring your unwanted goods!

ALSO.....

Wednesday is Office Administrator Day. This is the day that we get to celebrate Ms. Rhonda and Ms. Susan.  Please think about bringing in a small token of you appreciation for them on Wednesday.  Gifts can include flowers from your garden, a nice homemade card, or something else that shows how much we appreciate everything that they do for our Happy School!

Friday is Parent Night Out hosted by Mr. & Mrs. Norwood and other par ents from our Soleado Booster Club.  Dancing, games, and  fun activities are planned for the students at Soleado from 6-10pm.  Flyers will come home on Monday or the information can be found on our BlogSpot http://volunteeratsoleado.blogspot.com/

A last word...please remember to drive safely in and around Soleado.  Some drivers are being impatient and cutting the other cars in line.  Everyone, including Kinder and TK parents, must wait patiently in the line of cars for pick up and drop off.  We are doing our best to keep kids safe, and your patience and support is needed to make this work!

Thank you Soleado Families,
Mrs. Stutzel
