Soleado Parents,

One important reminder and one important request!

Save the Date! 

Soleado Community Night is February 12th at 6 p.m. - Come join me and the second and fourth grade teachers as we continue the  discussion about  common core, upcoming testing,  and the shifts in instruction at Soleado. 

Java with Gina/Parent Resource Room Open House  - February 19th at 9 a.m. - I will answer any questions from Community Night  and touch on other topics.   Come and join us as we have a warm beverage, look around the new Parent Resource Room and catch up on what is happening at Soleado.

Positions Available!

We are still looking for parent volunteers to serve on the PTA Board next year!  

 We need :

* 1st VP  -  Oversee the chair positions for Registration Day/First Day Packets, PTA Memberships and Honorary Service Awards

* Recording Secretary - Records minutes of the board meetings and general PTA meetings months and binds these minutes in a notebook.

Please be aware that Soleado can not have a PTA without filling the Recording Secretary job! Please consider helping out and getting involved!

We also have chair positions still open! These do not require meeting attendance.

Also, if you have not done so already, take a minute to look over all the great auction items still available!  Thanks to all of you that attended the Luau or donated in some way! You can pick up the envelopes and auction list in the front office. 

This auction ends at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 5:00 p.m
