An important plea to Soleado PTA Parents:

We are in need of 2-3 more parents to be part of our PTA nominating committee.  The nominating committee is composed of 5 members with 2 alternates.  The committee members have an important role in nominating our new PTA council members for the 2014-2015 school year.  The few meetings that are expected of the committee will not be held until after January 15^th, so this should not impact your holiday plans.  The commitment includes 2-3 meetings to discuss PTA Board positions, get nominations, and prepare final slate to be presented at the February meeting for a March election.  At the meetings, the current committee members will discuss people that are staying in their current PTA positions, those that are le aving, and positions that need to filled for the next school year.  There are 3 of us already committed to help, but we are looking for 2-3 more parents committed to keeping PTA a strong institution at Soleado. 

Please contact me ASAP so that we can finalize the committee and meeting times.
